This is a short 10-15 minute telephone conversation with a design specialist to make sure Color Landscapes’ skills are a match for your landscape dreams.  If we feel we will be a good match, an on-site visit will be scheduled.

On-Site Visit
A Color Landscapes design and sales representative will meet with you at your home to talk about your ideas, needs, likes / dislikes and goals for your home.  Our representative will walk your property with you to get a clear picture of your needs.  During this visit, it is very helpful if you can have a copy of your plot plan available to give to the designer.  It is also helpful if all decision makers in the process are present for this meeting to best gather everyone’s ideas, opinions and goals.

Budget
One key element of the consultation is finding out your budget for the project.  Color Landscapes can provide a wide range of services and products to enhance your outdoor living spaces.  For us to be able to design a plan best suited for your home, we need to know your budget.  We understand this is sometimes a hard topic to discuss, but once we have this information we will be able to more accurately create a plan for your home.

Design
The next step is for a Color Landscapes designer to take the information discussed at the home visit and put it on paper.  Our skilled designers will draw a scaled drawing of your home and the landscape elements that will enhance your home while staying within the parameters of your budget.

Second Meeting
Once the designer has completed the design and prepared an estimate that will best meet your needs, a second home visit will take place.  During this meeting you will be presented with the design and a detailed estimate that will reflect the ideas from the first meeting.  If the design and estimate meet or exceed your expectations, we simply ask for your signature and a 50% deposit. 

If there are aspects of the initial design and estimate that need to be changed, the designer will schedule another meeting to present the revisions.

Schedule Your Project
Projects are placed on the schedule in the order in which they were sold.  We typically start your project between two to four weeks after your contract is signed.  This time may vary, but a Color Landscapes employee will keep you up-to-date on your jobs placement on the schedule.

Project Installation
Prior to the crews starting your project, we will call your utility companies to come and mark your property to limit any damage or interruption to your water, cable, phone, internet, and power services. 

Our crews will arrive at your home in Color Landscapes uniforms and perform the project in a professional and courteous manner.  At Color Landscapes, we take pride in our work and our employees are a reflection of this pride.  The day the project is complete, an invoice will be delivered.  Full payment for the project should be given to the onsite supervisor.
